She forces her son Cupid or Eros to act against his will.

In short, she was beautiful but certainly not sweetness and light. Was she the original femme fatale ? Zeus was certainly intimidated by her beauty and turned into a blubbering nincompoop when he had to deal with her. Other Gods were also wary of her beauty. So quite a character…one that you might like to try on for size at the next Halloween party ?
