Step Two.  Think TOGA.  Not necessarily white- like if you want to go as Hades, black will do, or even blue cloth for Poseidon.   You first start with about 4-5 yards of fabric.  Wrap it around your waist- you go all around once then only half way the second time.  Then you pull it up over your shoulder, down your back, and around your waist once again.  You simply pin it to place in the back and in the waist area to hold the whole thing together.  You shouldn’t have any problems, but still wear a pair of shorts just in case.

Step Three.  “God” it up.  This is where you add a bit of glam to the whole look with accessories.  Laurel leaves are a true symbol of going Greek, so making them gold is just what you need to go Greek God.   Throw on a couple of gold gauntlets or wrist bands, maybe even a gold belt if you like.  Then, you can add some props to personalize the toga to the Greek God you have chosen- like you can carry around a lightning bolt if you want to be Zeus or a gold trident for Poseidon.

Step Two- Now that you have the base of the costume, it’s time to “Greek” it up a bit.  The key to this is actually gold cord.  Wrap it around your waist as a belt.  Not only will this add to the look but it will also give your dress or fabric more shape so that you can show off some of those curves of yours.  This is actually where your creativity should kick in.  You can wrap it around once, twice, or even three times if you like.  It is really up to you.  This gold cord can also be used as a headpiece.  You can make it a headband of sorts and just add some details if you like, such as gold laurel leaves or even embellish it with some faux jewels.

Step Three- The third step on how to make a goddess costume is to accessorize.  Look for any bangles or arm and wrist cuffs that go with the whole theme.  But, again, if you can’t find or borrow any, then you can always make some.  You can use metallic paper and cardboard for this.

More on the Warrior Princess Costume

This warrior princess costume is a bit like a soldier costume from some ancient civilizations – like Ancient Greece or even the roman civilization – for women.

It consists of a  brown faux leather dress. The dress has a short white skirt under the brown part. There is a trim pattern that looks a bit like an ancient Hellenic pattern on the white skirt section.
